Overview


The Zhongshan customer, specializing in OEM processing of TV backlight strips, faced challenges with the compatibility of their existing SMT lens feeders. With many lens types and unknown future requirements, they needed a versatile solution. They chose our SLM120S lens feeder, compatible with both triangular and square lenses, to meet their diverse needs.

Project Challenges and Solutions


Demands

Since there are many types of lenses for TV light strips, the customer hoped to purchase a feeder that could meet the needs of different lenses to solve the problem of diverse lens types.

Solution

1. Due to the unknown nature of future lenses, we collected data on the lenses currently used by the customer and other TV light bar lenses to design a feeder compatible with multiple lens types.

2. The SLM120S lens vibration feeder uses two channels: one for triangular lenses (inner and outer tripod lenses) and one for square lenses. This design covers 60-70% of common lenses on the market, though some special shapes like oval or hat-shaped lenses are not supported.

Specific Results
